Job Description Summary: PayPals Credit Risk Organization is seeking an experienced AI Specialist and Senior Developer, to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to automate credit rule authoring and help building simulation platform for credit strategies. The role utilizes strong technical and analytical skills to understand the business processes and translate them into technical flows for implementation in BRMS. You will work closely with product managers, developers, rule authors and automation engineers to innovate and deliver automation across credit products. Job Description: Primary Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement AI models for automating credit rule authoring. Collaborate cross functionally with credit strategists product managers to integrate AI and ML models into credit lending decision-making Develop high-impact, scalable technical solutions to complex technical and business problems. Collaborate with automation team to automate end to end of credit rule authoring and testing Will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust automated monitoring platform. Manage the BRMS of various credit platforms, including architecture, design, development, UAT, and release cycle management. Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines. Required Skills: PhD or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields. 8+ years of software development experience. Proven experience with Ai and Machine Learning algorithms. Data preprocessing (making data AI ready) for tabular and textual data. AI/ML algorithms. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java. Experience with common Java APIs and frameworks, Restful API design, and web frameworks like Springboot, Maven and Hibernate. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with XML, JSON, RDBMS, and strong SQL skills. System architecture/design experience. Preferred Skills: Experience with Rule Engine, BOM/XOM, execution algorithms, ruleset generation, and debugging. Ability to communicate clearly with development teams and business stakeholders. Experience working in an Agile environment.
