Lead II - Zos System Programmer

As a Senior z/OS System Programmer at UST, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and configuration of z/OS system software. With over 7 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and success of our infrastructure. You should have a strong background in system software installation, configuration, and hardware management on z/OS systems. Your key responsibilities will include installing and configuring z/OS system software, managing hardware components, maintaining z/OS security software, and developing Assembler and user exit coding. You will collaborate on hardware infrastructure deliveries, utilize tools like HCD and SMPE for configuration and patch management, and work with WLM for workload distribution. To excel in this role, you must possess at least 10 years of experience in z/OS installation and configuration, expertise in security software, proficiency in Assembler programming, and familiarity with tools like TSO/ISPF, REXX, and Parallel SYSPLEX. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for success. Additionally, familiarity with Unix Systems Services (USS), ISV products like Broadcom and BMC, and an understanding of Parallel SYSPLEX will be advantageous.
