Lead II - Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description: As a Machine Learning Engineer at UST in Bengaluru (Hybrid), with a total experience of 6-8 years and at least 5 years in Machine Learning, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and algorithms. Your role will involve performing data analysis to extract insights, identifying patterns, and implementing feature engineering processes to enhance model performance. Collaboration with data scientists and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions will be key. Additionally, you will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, as well as develop and deploy machine learning applications using Flask, FastAPI, or Django. You must have strong skills in Python and its libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), experience with web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django, a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, and proficiency in data visualization tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn. Strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to work independently and in a team, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential. Good-to-have skills include experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, knowledge of MLOps practices and tools, familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, and exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
