Role Description Location: Trivandrum Position: Lead Frontend Engineer Location: [Location or Remote] Experience: 9+ years About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer or Lead Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a professional with extensive expertise in frontend technologies, a proven leadership background, and a passion for building high-traffic, complex web applications. You will have the opportunity to shape the frontend architecture and lead the development of new features while mentoring a talented team of engineers. Must-Have Skills Frontend Development: 9+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong background in JavaScript and TypeScript. React.js or Vue.js Expertise: Deep experience with either React.js or Vue.js for building modern web applications. CSS / Styled Components: Extensive experience with CSS, Styled Components, or similar modern styling solutions. Web Application Development: Proven track record of developing and leading the development of complex, high-traffic web applications. Frontend Architecture & Best Practices: Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and industry-standard best practices. Testing: Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, or other testing tools. API Integration: Expertise in working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and GraphQL. Version Control: Expert knowledge of Git for version control. Build Tools: Experience with modern build tools like Nx, Parcel, Webpack, and Babel. Web Fundamentals: Strong understanding of HTML, DNS, and Web Server technologies. Accessibility (WCAG) & UX: Expertise in accessibility standards (WCAG) and understanding of user experience (UX) principles. Leadership & Mentorship: Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with experience leading teams or initiatives. Problem-Solving & Debugging: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Good-to-Have Skills Cross-Platform Development: Experience with mobile-first or cross-platform development (e.g., using frameworks like React Native). CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools. Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing web applications. Design Systems: Familiarity with creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries. Performance Optimization: Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large-scale frontend applications. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban). Docker & Containerization: Experience with Docker or containerized environments. Server-Side Rendering (SSR): Experience with SSR frameworks like Next.js for React or Nuxt.js for Vue.js.
