Job Description

As a Lead I Technical Writer, your primary responsibility will be to create, maintain, and enhance high-quality documentation to support product development and delivery. This includes creating process, operational, and release documents for both local and cloud-based environments. You will closely collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all technical content. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, develop, and write operational, process, and release documentation for internal and external audiences. - Conduct interviews with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather data and insights for documentation. - Use standardized templates to create process, procedure, and reference documents. - Produce documentation adhering to company standards, including style, formatting, and QA guidelines. - Provide documentation support to designated tribes or product segments. - Create multi-format deliverables (e.g., online help, PDFs, wiki content) for both internal and customer-facing use. - Participate in agile ceremonies and QA reviews to support the product lifecycle and release management process. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Technical Writing, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience). - Minimum 2 years of experience in writing, editing, and planning software documentation. - Exceptional written communication and grammar skills. - Strong understanding of technical documentation usability principles. - Ability to conform to proprietary writing style guides and maintain consistency across deliverables. - Experience with documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Markdown, or similar platforms. - Cloud Certification is strongly preferred. In addition to the above, you are expected to have strong attention to detail, manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, be familiar with agile methodologies and software development processes, and have a commitment to continuous improvement in documentation quality and standards.,
