Lead I - Software Engineering - Unity Lead/Developer

As a Developer XR (Unity Developer/Lead) at UST based in Trivandrum, you will be responsible for harnessing your 3-9 years of experience to contribute to the development and enhancement of immersive AR/VR experiences. Your primary focus will be on utilizing your strong working knowledge of Unity3D and proficiency in C# and/or C++ to create captivating user interfaces and interactions based on mockups and storyboards. Your role will require you to demonstrate familiarity with AR/VR hardware, software, best practices, and design patterns, as well as a solid understanding of 2D/3D mathematical concepts such as linear algebra, matrix multiplication, and quaternions. You should also possess knowledge of game engine concepts including lighting, shaders, materials, meshes, and scripting. In this position, you will be expected to collaborate effectively within multi-person teams, following structured development processes. Hands-on experience with source control systems like Git and issue tracking tools such as Jira and Trello will be essential for your success. Additionally, your ability to diagnose, document, and resolve bugs reported by testers and users will be crucial in ensuring the high quality of the final product.
