Job Description

The senior front-end developer position in Bangalore (Hybrid) requires a professional with over 5 years of front-end development experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating robust, scalable, and visually appealing web applications. As a key member of the product engineering team, you will be responsible for developing modern user interfaces using React, Redux, and TypeScript. Collaboration with UX designers and back-end developers is essential to ensure seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain complex, high-performance front-end applications using React, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and responsive interfaces. - Implement and manage scalable state management with Redux. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices. - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance. - Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs. - Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality. - Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends. Must-Have Skills: - 5+ years of professional front-end development experience. - Strong expertise in React and Redux. - Proficiency in TypeScript with a solid understanding of type-checking in React applications. - Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks (e.g., SCSS, Styled Components). - Experience in building responsive and mobile-first designs. - Practical experience with Redux middleware like redux-thunk or redux-saga. - Proficient with build tools such as Webpack and Babel. - Solid experience with Git and version control workflows. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front-end integration. - Hands-on experience with testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme. - Understanding of Agile methodologies. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience with Next.js or Server-Side Rendering (SSR). - Familiarity with GraphQL. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA). - Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Web Vitals).
