Job Description

As a Product Engineering Lead, you will leverage your technical expertise to select appropriate technical options for development, based on complex product requirements derived from the customer discovery process. Your role will involve ensuring clear understanding of product requirements, creating effort estimations, enabling solutioning for complex technology problems, developing critical modules, and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring and grooming Product Engineers, as well as influencing and improving customer satisfaction. - Ensure clear understanding of product requirements and user stories from the customer discovery process - Create effort estimations and ETAs for deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines/SLAs - Enable solutioning for complex technology problems, write code for critical modules and develop complex features and unit test cases - Execute test cases and prepare release documents in line with requirements - Adhere to best practices and standards, providing periodic status updates - Mentor and groom Product Engineers for career progression - Conduct technical assessments for hiring the right candidates for the Product Engineering Lead role - Set OKRs for self/team, and provide feedback on goals to team members - Drive architecture/code reviews and eliminate implementation problems early in the development cycle Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with electrical modeling tools such as Revit MEP, E3D, Bentley OpenBuildings - Proficiency in creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts - Ability to extract high-accuracy 2D drawings from 3D models - Experience in conducting site visits and ensuring compliance with industry standards - Strong 2D extraction techniques for high-quality electrical drawings - Collaboration skills to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams for seamless design integration The company values expertise in electrical modeling and 2D extractions, with a focus on developing and maintaining detailed electrical models using tools like Revit MEP, E3D, and Bentley OpenBuildings.
