Job Description

As a Data Engineer on the Azure Platform, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks. Your key responsibilities will include integrating and transforming large datasets from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL environments, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of data architecture, and applying best practices for ETL design, data governance, and data quality assurance. You will collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and cloud engineers across projects and monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines using ADF and Databricks. - Integrate and transform large datasets across multiple sources into Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL environments. - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business consumption. - Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of data architecture. - Apply best practices for ETL design, data governance, and data quality assurance. - Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and cloud engineers across projects. - Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics, with at least 2+ years working primarily on Microsoft Azure. - Strong expertise in SQL writing, optimizing, and managing complex queries. - Hands-on experience with key Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks. - Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI. - Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management and optimization. Nice to Have: - Microsoft Certification (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate). - Experience with DevOps, Git, and CI/CD for data workflows. - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project methodologies. - Knowledge of data security and compliance standards in cloud environments.,
