Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end setup, maintenance, and closure of mandates, portfolios, agreements, and accounts across internal systems. This role requires frequent interaction with internal teams and external parties like executing brokers, custodians, and fund administrators. As a team player, you will thrive in a fast-paced operations environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and effective prioritization skills. Key Responsibilities: - External Account Management: - Onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding of third-party entities. - Setup and maintenance of Custody accounts, FX Broker accounts, Clearing Broker & Prime Broker accounts, Unit Trust Transfer Agent & Third-Party Administrator accounts, and Market onboarding and Custody arrangements. - Exchange-Traded Derivative (ETD) account setup with Clearing Brokers. - Uploading KYC and Mandate NAV data to Counterparty Manager (CPM). - Handling Level 1 KYC queries and monitoring/refreshing expiring documents. - Mandate & Portfolio Management: - Setup, maintenance, and closure of Mandates, Portfolios, Aladdin client data masters, and Derivative agreement setup in Aladdin (Deco). - Static data updates, broker configurations, maintenance of Aladdin Portfolio Groups, and updates for Fund Manager changes, Investment Policies, and Objectives. - Assignment of trading and simple Portfolio Compliance rules, as well as trade reporting configuration. - Fund Implementation & Lifecycle Events: - Launch and closure of funds and share classes, side pocket creation and redemptions, and shareholder mailings. - Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) creation and renewals. Qualifications Required: - Experience & Knowledge: - Proven understanding of KYC/AML processes and familiarity with LEI requirements and regulatory documentation. - Solid knowledge of operational risk and control awareness. - Systems Proficiency: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and experience with systems like Aladdin, CPM, or similar financial operations platforms. - Communication: - Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders and external counterparts. - Work Ethic & Attention to Detail: - Ability to manage high-volume tasks accurately under pressure with excellent attention to detail and a data integrity mindset. - Client Service Orientation: - Commitment to delivering high-quality and timely service tailored to client needs.
