Lead - Financial Reporting

As a Financial Accountant at our company, you will be responsible for the following: - Preparation of monthly financial statements, including semi-annual reviewed financials and annual financials in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for Overseas branches. - Handling centralized accounting functions for MB Overseas, which includes Bahrain Retail, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain Wholesale, India, New York, London, and Hong Kong, along with related Management Information Systems (MIS). - Compilation and presentation of information to external auditors and regulatory authorities. - Executing accounting and control functions for Overseas branches efficiently and promptly to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards, regulatory authorities, and Banks Accounting Policies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA would be advantageous. - Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). - Experience in preparing financial statements and dealing with external auditors.
