Lead Engineer - Piping

Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects. As a Piping Engineer, you will lead feed and detail engineering activities, coordinate multi-discipline project activities, and provide detailed piping engineering activities for industrial plants. Key Responsibilities: - Leading Feed and Detail Engineering activities, including cost estimation - Leading and guiding a team of Piping Engineers and Designers - Coordinating multi-discipline, multi-office project activities - Reviewing client requirements and Invitation to Bid (ITB) - Conducting detailed piping engineering activities for industrial plants, covering design calculations, material specifications, layouts, procurement activities, and more - Handling projects and piping design on 3D independently, participating in model reviews - Providing technical guidance to Designers for piping design work - Ensuring timely completion of designs, requisitions, and engineering deliverables - Adhering to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems - Monitoring work progress and work-hour usage for team members Qualifications Required: - Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering - 12+ years of experience in industrial projects in Pharma/Chemical sector - Detailed piping engineering experience, including design calculations, material specifications, layouts, and procurement activities - Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) is essential - Mandatory knowledge of Hygienic Design - Proficiency in 3D software packages like SP3D & Plant 3D with a minimum of 10 years experience - Knowledge of Stress Analysis will be an added advantage Additional Company Details (if present): At Jacobs, they value a balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle to consistently deliver and exceed clients" expectations.
