Lead Engineer Mechanical KG KKD - FPSO

Job Accountabilities

Responsible for meeting company#s objectives of achieving the production targets safely by making availability of STP systems, piping systems, topside and hullside static equipment#s and suggesting modifications if any with the objective of equipment availability in terms of safety, reliability and operability and making availability of rotary equipment#s to plant operations.

• O&M support to :

  Ensures adherence to Preventive maintenance and Inspection schedule of all static equipment and STP system using SAP.
• Reviews spare parts inventory levels, initiates ordering process and arranges necessary vendors services for proper maintenance execution.
• Works closely with OEM and site staff for engineering clarifications, requests for deviations, unexpected technical issues and expedites the solution implementation.
• Reviews the inspection records, operating parameters, log sheets, DCS trends, discuss with operations team and refer history for any specific issues of STP, piping, all static equipment at topside and hull side.
• Identifies, tracks and closeout findings made during regular inspection and record it for future improvements.
• Plans and organizes training for RIL and contractor staff to improve maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of STP and static equipment (both topside and hull side).
• Supports and coordinates asset integrity related assurance activities.
• Plans for materials, manpower and services for unit shutdown and major shutdown 1 year in advance.
• Plans and ensures the upkeep of the spares, tools and services for 24 hrs readiness of STP disconnection and re connection of the buoy and swivel to handle bad weather or abandonment situation.
• Making availability of rotary equipment#s to plant operations

Skill & Competencies

• Knowledge on static equipment maintenance and inspection, knowledge related to international codes and standards and best practices, SAP PM & MM module, Meridium, Marine systems, OISD, API and class requirements.
• Awareness of Turret Production system will be an advantage.
• Communication skills, Team Management, time management, Presentation Skills and decision making.

Education Required

BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Required

10 Years of experience in Oil & Gas RefineryFertilizersPetro chemicals
