Lead Engineer Automation & Control, Service Engineering

As a Lead Engineer, Automation & Control, Service Engineering at our cutting-edge Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of innovative products. With Industrial and Energy Technology operating in 120 countries, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. Your primary focus will be to improve the quality of Engineering processes. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting the installed base by resolving customer issues, addressing fleet issues, implementing service bulletins, conducting Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics, configuring fleet, performing root cause analysis, and providing site support - Developing new solutions either individually, in a team setting, or based on organizational precedents, with a specific focus on designing the control cabinet part of projects - Collaborating with a digital team for proactive product improvement, data-driven root cause analysis, and building product-specific tools - Working closely with business leadership to specify needs, communicate project approach, and present outcomes of the job done - Collaborating on cross-functional teams, sometimes facilitating smartly, sometimes serving as an expert on a particular task Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's technical Engineering degree in automation or Instrumentation and Control Engineering with 6 years of experience - Proficiency in Industrial control systems like PLCS, DCS, etc. - Hands-on experience in MKVIe PLCS (Siemens, Allen Bradley, and/or Mark-VIe) - Exposure to Industrial Automation processes and protocols, with a solid depth knowledge of Turbomachinery and Auxiliary systems - Ability to read and understand Engineering documents such as P&ID, Data sheets, O&M manuals, GA Drawing, etc. - In-depth knowledge and experience in Control Engineering documents like Logic Diagram, Functional Description/Narrative, Cause & Effect chart, Field instrument list, Startup narrative, etc. About Us: We are an energy technology company operating globally and providing solutions to energy and industrial customers.
