As a Lead Engineer Mobile with 5-9 years of experience, your role will involve shaping the future of cutting-edge products at REA. You will collaborate with product and technical team members to deliver and support REA's real estate App products on Android platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with mobile apps such as realestate.com.au and Ignite, utilizing Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android development. - Design and implement Android UI features using Jetpack Compose and Android Views for seamless integration with native experiences. - Contribute to the overall design of technical solutions and product direction. - Assist in delivery planning and technical design by evaluating options, effort, and quality. - Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain clear communication and design high-quality solutions. - Partner with multidisciplinary teams to understand business priorities and share ideas effectively. - Embrace best practices for clean and reusable code, including unit testing, code reviews, and exploration of new technologies. - Support the engineering manager in maintaining high code quality and promoting effective teamwork. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-9 years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin and object-oriented programming principles. - Strong understanding and experience with Jetpack Compose and reactive programming. - Willingness to work on both Android and iOS apps using Kotlin and Swift. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Continuous Delivery practices, and unit testing. - Proactive attitude towards challenges, developing solutions, and learning. - Demonstrated initiative in taking ownership of tasks and time management. - Experience in coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.,
