Lead Embedded Software Engineer - Linux Kernel

Role Overview: As a Lead Embedded Software Engineer at the company, you will be spearheading the development of advanced Linux-based ARM industrial gateways. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing complex embedded software to ensure exceptional performance, reliability, and security. You will leverage your expertise in embedded Linux, C++ development, industrial protocols, and hardware-software integration to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and architecture of robust and scalable embedded C++ software for ARM-based industrial gateways. - Define and enforce coding standards and best practices, oversee the development and maintenance of Linux-based systems using the Yocto Project. - Develop and implement complex multithreaded applications, design CLI/SSH-based diagnostic commands, integrate industrial communication protocols, and develop drivers for embedded peripherals. - Mentor junior engineers and shape CI/CD initiatives for continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle. - Champion and drive the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, lead agile development processes, and mentor junior engineers in CI/CD best practices. - Utilize expertise in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting embedded systems to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies and root cause analysis of complex software defects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 11-13 years of extensive experience in embedded software development. - Expert proficiency in Embedded C++ programming, deep understanding of ARM-based microcontrollers and Linux-based systems. - Proven leadership in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies. - Strong experience with Linux application development, industrial communication protocols, and embedded systems architecture.,
