Roles & Responsibilities:

• Must have 10+ years of experience in electrical distribution system design.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE/IS standards for LV/MV distribution.
• Proficiency in ETAP for load calculations and AutoCAD Electrical for SLDs.
• Experience with plant utility and industrial facility electrical systems.
• Develop the electrical load list for all utility systems and coating machine.
• Calculate demand factors and estimate preliminary power requirements.
• Prepare preliminary one-line diagrams (SLDs):
• Transformers, MV/LV feeders.
• MCC/Distribution panel schedules.
• Define basis for switchgear and MCC sizing.
• Identify preliminary cable routing corridors, tray layouts, and riser diagrams.
• Coordinate with process/mechanical teams to capture all electrical loads.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and local codes.
• Exclusions (not in BEP scope): load flow, short circuit, and arc-flash studies.
• Prepare electrical deliverables: Load list, One-line diagrams (prelim), MCC/distribution panel schedule, Preliminary SLD package.
• Strong cross-discipline coordination ability.
• Participate in design review meetings with client.
