Lead Electrical 3D Designer

You will be joining PM Group, a leading International engineering, architecture, project, and construction management firm with a global network of offices and a dedicated team of over 3,700 professionals. As a Lead Electrical 3D Designer based in Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the detailed design and coordination of electrical systems in compliance with international standards and industry best practices. Your day-to-day tasks will include coordinating and planning space management, electrical equipment, cable containment, as well as providing technical support to Lead/Senior Electrical Engineers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various projects, implement site-specific quality and design standards, chair design reviews, and participate in client meetings. To excel in this role, you must have a profound understanding of design applications such as AutoDesk Revit, AutoDesk Navisworks, AutoDesk AutoCAD, and DIALux Lighting Design Software. Knowledge of additional applications like Caneco One, SmartPlant Electrical, and ETAP would be advantageous. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 12 years of experience in electrical 3D design within an EPC firm, and proficiency in tools like Revit, E3D, and SP3D. Strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable design are essential. You should also be familiar with electrical engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices, with demonstrable experience in MV and LV power distribution, lighting systems, UPS systems, generators, fire alarm systems, security systems, and more.
