Lead Design Engineer

Job Description

Experience : 5-8 Years Qualification : B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering. Primary Responsibilities: Creating / Updating Manufacturing drawings for sheet metal, machined parts, complex assemblies, gas line weldments etc Conducting the Quality Check of the drawings created by Drafting department. Managing and Planning daily deliverables of the Drawing Team. Working on resolution of documentation quality issues / Supplier Build issues Selects OEM parts per design requirements with guidance from Mechanical Engineers and adheres to established processes/BKMs/Standards. Experience in Training and mentoring new team members. Conducting KSS, trainings to improve quality of deliverables. Mandatory Skills required to perform the job: Minimum 5 years of Experience in Creating Manufacturing Drawings & Specifications using Creo or NX CAD tool Mini of 3 years of experience in performing QC of drawings created by Team members. Experience in creating and releasing drawing package for sheet metal, machined components, tube assemblies using Unigraphics-NX Good knowledge on welding symbols(AWS, ISO), GD&T symbols and application, Surface finish & ASME drafting standards Knowledge of Manufacturing, Fabrication process (Sheetmetal, Machining, welding Etc.,) Good Hands n exp in CAD tools, NX or CREO.
