• Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment
• Providing Application Database and Data Migration support for an established cloud-based database infrastructure
• SQL tuning and Performance on both Db2 and PostgreSQL
• Maintenance of Databases Utilities management
• Providing 12x7 on-call support
• Database Engineering
  

The Skills That Are Key To This Role

• Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment
• Extensive experience in SQL, JCL, COBOL
• Experience in Qrep and IIDR replication products
  

How Your Work Impacts The Organization

• Knowledge of DB2 LUW on LINUX/UNIX
• Experience on CA Platinum tools
• Expertise in distributed technologies (Linux, VSCode, Git, Jenkins) including AWS based Aurora PostgreSQL
• Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK, PG, PHZ, VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS,CloudWatch, DMS, EC2, AMI, rehydration, etc. and provisioning them
