Role Overview: You will be joining as a Content Lead in our in-office team in Bangalore, where you will be responsible for managing a team of content curators, utilizing AI-driven solutions to scale content production, and collaborating with product and design teams to enhance user engagement across different regions. Key Responsibilities: - Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content curators to align with 1Weather's strategic goals. - Establish performance benchmarks and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement. - AI-Driven Content Strategy: - Integrate AI tools and technologies to create weather and climate-related content at scale. - Work with data science teams to build content frameworks and automated workflows for distribution in multiple regions. - Content Production & Distribution: - Supervise the creation and curation of diverse content formats (text, images, infographics, video) tailored to audience preferences in various countries. - Ensure content accuracy, timeliness, and engagement while reflecting brand voice and global cultural nuances. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate closely with design and product teams to advocate for data-driven content aligned with the user experience roadmap. - Provide insights on content performance to influence feature enhancements and app improvements. - User Engagement & Analytics: - Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor metrics like user engagement, retention, and satisfaction. - Analyze content performance across different regions to refine strategy and enhance reach. - Quality Assurance & Compliance: - Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines, local regulations, and cultural sensitivities. - Maintain high editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, and relevancy. Qualification Required: - Experience & Expertise: - 5+ years of experience in content management, social media strategy, or editorial leadership, preferably in a digital or media setting. - Demonstrated success in leading and scaling content teams. - Technical & AI Knowledge: - Track record of leveraging AI/ML tools to automate and enhance content production. - Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights platforms. - Communication & Leadership: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus. - Strong leadership qualities to motivate cross-functional teams. - Creative Problem-Solving: - Ability to think strategically about content's role in user engagement and retention. - Proven innovation and iteration skills to meet evolving user expectations. - In-Office & Team Collaboration: - Full-time availability at the Bangalore office. - Experience collaborating with design and product teams for feature enhancements and user interface improvements.
