Lead Consultant- PTC Windchill

As a PTC Sr Windchill Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will play a key role in our team based in Pune or Bangalore. Your responsibilities will include hands-on experience as a Windchill Architect, specializing in PLM Enterprise Systems, particularly focusing on Windchill and Thingworx. You will be responsible for writing code based on detailed programming specifications, completing documentation, conducting unit testing, debugging, and generating reports to communicate results effectively. Collaborating closely with senior staff on system design, you will configure, customize, and build solutions that are closely aligned with business processes and requirements. Additionally, you will develop applications utilizing Windchill's REST API, deploy and debug code throughout the build process, and adhere to best practices across the development lifecycle. Your role will involve working with onshore/offshore Business/Solution Architects to develop prototypes and implement comprehensive solutions. To excel in this role, you must possess the ability to develop detailed design documents based on technical requirements, coordinate support activities, and identify solutions for complex issues. Your coding tasks should meet quality standards and best practices, and you should provide unit and functional test cases for the solutions you implement. Experience with Java programming, particularly with the Windchill API, is essential for success in this role. Moreover, familiarity with industry standards and the ability to code in Java and Python will be advantageous. Experience working on Agile engagements, knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT, and JIRA, and proficiency in object-oriented methodologies and API development are all valuable assets for this position. Database experience, particularly with Oracle and SQL Server, is beneficial, as is prior experience in the Manufacturing Automotive industry. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as attention to detail and thorough documentation practices are essential for this role. A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with equivalent experience in the development industry, will be advantageous for success in this position.,
