Lead Azure Integration Architect

As a Lead Digital Architect at Caterpillar Inc., you play a crucial role in defining functional design, development, and architecture for Caterpillar's state-of-the-art digital platform in alignment with common department goals and CAT Digital Strategy. Your work involves designing and deploying a world-class integration platform to facilitate information exchange across various digital applications within and outside the Caterpillar ecosystem. **Responsibilities:** - Provide oversight for architecture assessment and design in infrastructure, information, or integration domains that provide core capabilities for the enterprise. - Lead the architecture design of end-to-end enterprise integrations serving multiple business functions. - Design and implement integration standards supporting complex projects. - Drive architecture and design patterns for various Enterprise Integration scenarios and services. - Design and implement scalable and secured data share integrations. - Design and implement automated workflows within, across, and outside the software ecosystems. - Identify and implement the right integration services for the right use case. - Define integration security guardrails per Enterprise standards. - Guide the Operations team in Observability & SRE strategies. - Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure Integration services, evaluate new technologies for potential integration into existing and future architecture. - Initiate and deliver technology evaluation and recommendations. - Develop and maintain current, planned, and future state architecture blueprints. **Skills:** - Analytical Thinking - Effective Communications - Integration Architecture - Target Architecture - Requirements Analysis **Top Candidates Will Have:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 12+ years of experience. - At least 5 years of architecture experience as Integrations Architect. - Demonstrable experience in designing, developing & deploying complex distributed systems in Azure cloud & hybrid cloud environments. - Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud solutions, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, DataVerse, and more. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. - Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. - Experience in Agile SDLC implementation in public cloud ecosystem.
