Description
As an eCommerce Architect (SAP Commerce Architect) at Zoetis, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of SAP Commerce (Hybris) solutions. Your primary role will involve ensuring that the platform meets business requirements while maintaining scalability, performance, and security. You will actively participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of Zoetis initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and other parties to address crucial commerce business needs by leveraging the Hybris platform. Your key responsibilities will include developing, prototyping, testing, and implementing solution improvements to enhance stability, usability, and functionality, enabling end users to achieve business objectives. You will collaborate with external service providers and business teams globally to implement SAP Commerce solutions. Additionally, you will work on defining policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a global SAP Commerce Landscape and provide ongoing support for break fixes and change requests. As part of the role, you will contribute to the global deployment of SAP Commerce, develop and implement bug fixes and enhancements, and provide insights to IT and Business leadership on best practices, industry trends, and business opportunities. You will also be responsible for production monitoring, problem resolution, and peak season readiness activities for the Hybris modules. Identifying and initiating process improvements, facilitating various tests, and training team members and stakeholders will be integral to your responsibilities. In terms of qualifications, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, along with at least 10+ years of overall experience in SAP B2B Commerce, including a minimum of 4+ years as an SAP Commerce (Hybris) Architect. You should have a proven track record of successfully implementing multiple full life cycles of SAP Commerce projects and be adept at working in a globally distributed environment. Experience in the life sciences/pharmaceuticals industry and certification in SAP Hybris Development would be advantageous. Your technical skills should include considerable expertise in SAP Commerce components, knowledge of incremental changes in SAP commerce platform upgrades, familiarity with tools like Akamai CDNs, and an understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment are essential for this role. This full-time position at Zoetis requires flexibility to work overlapping hours with US EST Time to accommodate business needs effectively.,
