As a Sun Solaris Administrator with 3-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for proficiently managing Solaris systems. This includes tasks such as OS installation, partitioning, and configuration. Your role will also involve working with ZFS for storage management, including volume creation and file system optimization. Additionally, you will be expected to have experience in creating, configuring, and managing LDOMs for Solaris virtualization. In this role based in Mumbai, you will manage various aspects of Solaris systems, from OS installation to partition creation and configuration. Your responsibilities will extend to managing ZFS, LDOMs, and SVMS for storage and virtualization purposes. You will also be involved in configuring SIEM systems, performing vulnerability management, and troubleshooting critical incidents. As a Sun Solaris Administrator, you will undertake proactive tasks like patch management, OS upgrades, server migrations, and user management. You will be expected to provide emergency support and ensure the timely resolution of issues that may arise. To qualify for this position, you should be a graduate (BSC/B.Tech/B.E./BCA) or a postgraduate (MSC/MTech/M.E./MCA). Full-time graduates are preferred.
