This is a full-time position, and this individual will be based in our Jacobs India office . Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities Good understanding of hydraulic and hydrological principles Preparation of DRB, Design reports and technical specifications for Storm water drainage and related works Responsible for design and delivery management in coordination with other disciplines Preparation of various drainage related drawings at various stages of projects including drainage layout plans, profiles, typical drainage sections, cross-sections and GAD for structural & other utility coordination. Work collaboratively with other design disciplines within an agreed engineering management environment to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution. Strong leadership, good communication skills with teams and stakeholders Practical experience in fieldwork related to drainage projects. Familiarity with CWC guidelines, Indian and International Codal provisions Proficient in drainage modelling software Bentley Civil Storm/ SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS. Hands-on knowledge of QGIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD is preferrable. Provide inputs to BoQ and Costing engineer Prepare Design basis, scope and technical specifications for Tender purpose Willingness to contribute to work on Proposal submission in parallel whenever required We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. Here's what you'll need Job Requirements / Qualifications / Experience Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment. Education - Graduation - Post Graduation - M.Tech – Water Resources/Hydrology & Hydraulics Consultancy experience in Scheme/Detailed designs/GFC/Tender Experience of working in storm drainage infrastructure works, rail, roads or airport sector drainage works Experience in drainage network planning and detailed hydraulic designs, report and drawing preparation and checking for drains, with ability to analyze and solve drainage-related problems. Required Software Skills for design- Bentley Civil Storm/ SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, QGIS. Required Software Skills for review and coordination - Civil3D & AutoCAD Proficiency in spoken and written English
