While UI and UX are distinct, the synergy between them is vital for the company's design choices. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. You will utilize storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to visualize design concepts. Designing graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs, and widgets, as well as creating page navigation buttons and search fields, will be part of your tasks. Developing UI mockups and prototypes that effectively demonstrate the functionality and appearance of websites is also crucial. You will be expected to produce unique graphic designs and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Identifying and resolving UX issues, implementing layout changes based on user feedback, and adhering to font, color, and image style guidelines are also essential aspects of the role.
