As a Network Security Specialist at Proinf in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for managing enterprise network systems and ensuring high availability through your strong understanding of layer-2 and layer-3 protocols. Your experience with industry-leading devices such as Cisco, PaloAlto, Juniper, and Extreme will be crucial in this role. Having a B.Tech qualification and at least 5 years of experience in this field, you will also benefit from any certifications with Cisco or PaloAlto. In this role, you will be expected to have a good grasp of SD-WAN technology and be able to automate tasks using scripting languages. Your knowledge of technology tools for IT security management will be essential, and your ability to work well in a team with excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be highly valued. You should be able to remain calm and collected during stressful situations and be a quick learner who excels at picking up new skills and technologies. Being comfortable with working night shifts in a 24x7 support environment is important, as is your ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting that relies heavily on teamwork principles.
