Join our dynamic team of testing professionals dedicated to serving a bank in Australia. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate a proven track record in testing banking applications, with a preference for experience in Lending. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various stakeholders and possessing a solid understanding of Agile testing methodologies. The core focus will involve managing and developing testing requirements for diverse internal teams. As part of your role, you will be involved in the following key responsibilities: - **Test Initiation**: Assist the QA manager during the test initiation phase by conducting requirement analysis and estimating test efforts effectively. - **Test Plan**: Thoroughly review and comprehend project-specific business requirements, document queries, identify testable requirements, impacted applications, and processes. Additionally, identify test environment and data requirements, prepare test cases, conduct peer reviews, and participate in test review walkthroughs. - **Test Execution**: Engage in daily stand-up meetings, manage test allocation based on entry criteria, execute tests, mentor junior resources, log defects, participate in defect triage, retest and close defects, support QA manager on daily reports, and review test results periodically. - **Test Closure**: Review traceability metrics, organize test artifacts, update exit criteria checklist, provide end-state defects with appropriate remarks, support QA manager on test summary report data points, participate in retro/lessons learned sessions, and encourage junior resources. Mandatory Skills for this role include: - 4 to 10 years of experience as a Test Analyst or Engineer - Exposure to SDLC and STLC - Strong experience in testing Core Banking Systems - Proficiency in testing methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps - Testing expertise in requirement gathering, test planning techniques, and defect management - Layer testing experience in Presentation layer (Web GUI & Mobile application), Logical layer (APIs), and Data layer (Database & Reporting tools) - Exposure to API testing tools like Postman, JMeter, and Soup UI - Familiarity with integration test tools such as Jenkins, Azure Pipeline, or AWS Pipelines - Experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams SharePoint, and test & defect management tools like ALM and Jira - Clear understanding of test governance Nice-to-Have Skills include: - Understanding of Automation framework, Performance testing, and ETL & database testing - Knowledge of Core banking application - Temenos T24 Language Requirement: - English: C2 Proficient Join our team and be a part of an exciting journey in the field of testing within the banking industry in Australia!,
