Key Responsibilities:Develop and write CNC lathe programs using G-code or CAM software. Set up CNC lathe machines, including tooling, work holding, and offsets. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.). Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time and improve productivity. Maintain machine tools, tooling inventory, and ensure proper machine calibration. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues promptly. Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area. Requirements:ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, or Tool Engineering. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC lathe programming and operation. Proficient in G-code programming and familiar with Fanuc / Siemens / Haas controls. Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Edgecam). Preferred Skills:Experience in CNC turning centers and multi-axis machines. Knowledge of process improvement and productivity techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
