As a Laundry Associate at our hotel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our linen, uniforms, and guest laundry. Your responsibilities will include washing hotel linens and uniforms according to Standard Operating Procedures, examining laundered items for cleanliness, and sorting laundry items based on various criteria such as kind, color, and soiling level. One of the key aspects of your role will be to ensure the proper maintenance of all laundry machines, equipment, chemicals, and detergents necessary for washing laundry. You will also be responsible for identifying any damage or stains on linen or uniforms and reporting them to the Laundry Supervisor promptly. Additionally, you will be expected to remove stains from items using the appropriate stain removers and following standard procedures. To excel in this position, you should possess a warm and caring personality, with previous housekeeping experience considered an asset. Your ability to anticipate and address guest needs in a professional and welcoming manner, coupled with excellent organizational skills and time management, will be essential for success in this role.
