Job Description

Set up and adjust lathe machines according to technical drawings and specifications.

Install and align cutting tools, workpieces, and fixtures.Operate the lathe machine to cut, shape, and finish materials.

Monitor the machine during operation to ensure optimal performance.Select appropriate raw materials and inspect them for defects.

Load materials securely onto the lathe.Inspect finished products using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of lathe machines.

Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Maintain records of production, machine settings, and maintenance activities.

Report any issues or defects to supervisors.Identify and resolve issues with tools, machines, or materials during the machining process.
