Job Summary

Himalaya International is seeking a skilled Laser Operator to operate and maintain laser cutting machines for metal fabrication and signage manufacturing. The candidate should be capable of reading technical drawings, ensuring precision cutting, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines (Fiber / CO₂) for metal sheets such as MS, SS, Aluminium, ACP, etc.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and job specifications.
• Set up machines, adjust parameters, and ensure accurate cutting as per design.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor cutting quality, minimize material wastage, and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate with design, fabrication, and production teams.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
• Maintain daily production records and machine logs.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Laser Machine Operator (manufacturing / signage industry preferred).
• Knowledge of laser cutting software and basic CAD understanding (AutoCAD files).
• Experience working with metal fabrication machines.
• Ability to meet production deadlines with quality output.
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and safety protocols.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a factory environment.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / related field preferred.
• Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education.
