We work with a wide variety of polymers including PVC, CPVC, PP-R, ABS, PE-X, PP, HDPE, and more.

Job Summary:

The Laser Engraving Machine Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of laser engraving equipment used to mark or engrave mould components. The ideal candidate will ensure high precision and quality markings in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate laser engraving machines (e.g., fiber laser, CO₂ laser) for engraving part numbers, logos, cavity details, or customer-specific data on mould components.
  • Interpret and work from CAD/CAM drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
  • Program laser parameters such as speed, power, frequency, and focus to suit different materials like tool steel, aluminum, and polymer.
  • Ensure accurate alignment and positioning of the workpiece for precise engraving.
  • Conduct quality checks using appropriate measuring tools (calipers, microscope, etc.) to verify engraving dimensions and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance of laser machines and troubleshooting of minor issues.
  • Maintain records of work completed and assist in traceability and documentation.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating high-powered laser equipment.
  • Collaborate with the design and mould development teams to meet engraving requirements and deadlines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in operating and setting up laser engraving/marking machines.
  • Understanding of engraving software (EZCAD, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of materials (metals and plastics) and their reaction to laser treatment.
  • Basic understanding of mould components and manufacturing processes.
  • Attention to detail and high level of precision.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications:

  • ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die, Mechanical, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in laser engraving, preferably in mould/die industry.
  • Experience with mold cavity/core engraving is a strong advantage.

Work Environment:

  • Factory-based; must be comfortable working with tools, machines, and occasionally in shifts.
  • Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, and safety gear use is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
