You are a skilled and detail-oriented Laser / Large Format Printing Machine Operator who will be operating and maintaining high-performance laser and wide-format printing machines. Your responsibilities will include preparing materials, managing print jobs, performing regular machine maintenance, and ensuring print quality meets the highest standards. You will be operating laser engraving and large-format printing machines such as UV, solvent, eco-solvent, or latex printers. Setting up printing files, materials, and machine parameters for each job, monitoring the printing process to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and resolution, performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on printing equipment are some of your key responsibilities. Collaborating with the design team to ensure artwork is print-ready, handling various substrates such as vinyl, fabric, acrylic, foam board, and more, inspecting finished products for quality, consistency, and completeness, maintaining inventory of printing supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, keeping the work area clean and organized will also be crucial. To qualify for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred) and prior experience with laser machines and/or large-format printing equipment. Strong attention to detail, ability to work with precision, lifting and moving printing materials and products, good communication and problem-solving skills, flexibility to work shifts and meet tight deadlines are essential requirements. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Photoshop, experience with engraving machines or CNC routers, ability to handle urgent and bulk orders efficiently, and understanding of color management and calibration are preferred skills.
