As a Vue.js Frontend Developer at our multinational company, you will be responsible for leading the frontend of our platform, which is built using Vue 3 and the Quasar framework. You will collaborate closely with our Laravel backend developer to create modern, interactive, and scalable UI features. Your primary focus will be on developing smooth, component-driven user experiences utilizing tools like Vite, Pinia, and Vue Router. This is a hybrid position, with the first month requiring office presence for 4 days a week, followed by optional office attendance for meetings and select projects, transitioning into mainly a remote position. Your role will require the following must-have requirements without exceptions: - Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. - 4-6+ years of professional experience with Vue.js, with Vue 3 proficiency. - Experience with the Quasar Framework for developing responsive Vue applications. - Strong understanding of core Vue concepts including Composition API, Vue Router, Pinia, and Vite. - Proficiency in custom JavaScript, beyond template-based Vue usage. - Ability to collaborate with Laravel backend developers for frontend integration with APIs and services. - Previous exposure to working with Laravel Echo + socket.io. Technologies you will be working with include: - Vue 3 with Composition API - Quasar Framework - Pinia for state management - Vue Router - Vite for frontend builds optimization - Axios for API requests - Laravel Echo + socket.io-client for real-time communication Your responsibilities will encompass: - Developing and maintaining custom Vue.js components utilizing the Quasar framework. - Implementing and managing routing logic with Vue Router. - Managing global application state using Pinia. - Collaborating with Laravel developers to consume and integrate backend APIs. - Utilizing Vite for frontend builds and hot module reload during development. - Incorporating real-time features using Laravel Echo and Socket.io. - Ensuring code quality and maintaining a clean project structure. Nice-to-have qualifications that are not required but beneficial include experience with any backend language for full-stack awareness, familiarity with Docker and modern dev environments, understanding of RESTful API design and common patterns, experience with frontend performance optimization techniques, and proficiency in any other technologies in our stack such as MySQL, PHP, Python, AWS, and Ubuntu.
