Key Responsibilities include: - Monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of AIU Servers & computers - Administering Dell VxRail Hyper converged AIU Infrastructure - Managing Azure cloud infrastructure and optimizing performance - Administering Linux-based systems such as the AIU Library system - Overseeing Test Center, Students Center VDI systems - Leading troubleshooting efforts and problem-solving activities - Supporting the administrative tasks of Banner system and oracle appliance - Establishing guidelines for the installation and management of host computer operating systems - Ensuring high availability and performance of host computer resources - Developing security procedures to protect systems from unauthorized use - Creating backup and restoration procedures for host operating systems - Managing the AIU data center and computer host systems Skills required: - Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator - Proficiency in on-site and cloud-based infrastructure administration - Hands-on experience with hyper-converged infrastructure, preferably Dell VxRail - Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access management - Experience with Single Sign-On solutions - Expertise in data security, intrusion detection systems, and backup/recovery strategies - Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux environments - Familiarity with network protocols, LAN/WAN management, and firewall configurations - Experience in managing enterprise applications like Banner and Oracle databases is advantageous Education and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field - Professional certification such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus For more information about American International University, please visit www.aiu.edu.kw,
