Lead client conversations to understand business requirements and translate them into GCP-based solutions. Develop proposals, solution architectures, and effort estimations for cloud migration and modernization projects. Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to support RFPs, RFIs, and client presentations. Cloud Engineering & Migration Architect and implement cloud migration strategies from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP. Design and deploy solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) . Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership during migration and modernization efforts. Infrastructure & Security Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. Implement best practices in network architecture , firewall policies , IAM , and data protection . Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements. Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and guide engineering teams across multiple projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application, data, and security architects. Stay current with GCP innovations and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in cloud engineering. Proven experience in GCP architecture , cloud migration , and presales . Hands-on expertise with VMware , GCVE , and GKE . Strong understanding of networking , firewalls , VPNs , and cloud security . Experience in effort estimation, proposal writing, and client engagement. GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies. Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
