As a Landscape Designer, you will be involved in a variety of project types, such as hospitality, residential, multi-family, mixed-use, urban design, and commercial projects. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with project teams to develop design concepts, preparing deliverables in all project phases, and producing project deliverables using various software tools like AutoCAD, LandFX, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. You will also participate in project meetings, coordinate with external consultants, and conduct research on landscape and hardscape materials. To be successful in this role, a bachelor's degree in architecture or a master's degree in landscape architecture is preferred. Professional experience in landscape design, particularly 1-3 years, is also desired. You should have a strong interest in landscape design principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to create visually compelling presentation plans and renderings. Hand-drawing skills are essential for this position. Effective communication, collaboration, organizational, and time management skills are crucial, along with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
