As a Land Development Engineer, your primary responsibilities will involve planning and executing desktop assessments for land grading and leveling activities using Autodesk Civil 3D and MS Excel software. Your goal will be to achieve the desired site contours and slopes necessary for designing storm water drainage systems, roads, and other infrastructure elements. You will be tasked with designing land grading and earthwork plans, analyzing and estimating cut and fill volumes, and optimizing land development to meet finished ground levels. In this role, you will play a key part in developing plans for infrastructure systems including roads, utilities, stormwater management, and landscaping for large solar projects in India and internationally. Your duties will include preparing detailed engineering plans, drawings, and reports in compliance with Indian and American codes and standards. Additionally, you will review and analyze technical documents such as drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in creating effective drainage designs that encompass slopes, ditches, swales, and retention basins to manage water runoff and prevent erosion. You will be responsible for generating construction documents that align with company standards and project specifications, including plan and profile sheets, details, and specifications. Moreover, you will be involved in preparing cost estimates, Bills of Materials, and material specifications. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, requiring you to work closely with the team lead, project managers, and other team members as per project requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining files and documentation according to the company's folder management protocols. Your ability to work independently and meet project timelines will be essential to your success in this position.
