Job Title: Head – Human Resources Department: Human Resources Location: [Insert Location] Reporting To: CEO / Managing Director / CHRO (Group) Position Overview: The HR Head will be responsible for leading the Human Resource strategy for the FMCG organization, aligning HR initiatives with business goals. The role requires a strong focus on talent acquisition, people development, industrial relations, and cultural integration across manufacturing, sales, and corporate functions. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Strategy & Business Alignment • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives. • Serve as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership on human capital matters. • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management efforts. 2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for corporate, manufacturing, and sales functions. • Build talent pipelines for key positions across geographies. • Strengthen the company’s employer brand through campus engagement and digital campaigns. 3. Performance Management • Drive a performance-oriented culture by implementing robust PMS (Performance Management System). • Define KPIs and competency frameworks; anchor appraisal cycles and feedback processes. • Identify and support low performers through structured PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans). 4. Learning & Development • Design and deliver leadership development, sales training, and shop-floor training programs. • Promote continuous learning through digital learning platforms and external certifications. • Launch IDPs (Individual Development Plans) for high-potential talent. 5. Industrial Relations & Compliance • Maintain strong union relationships and negotiate long-term settlements. • Ensure compliance with labor laws, Factory Act, and other statutory requirements. • Handle disciplinary actions and grievance redressal in alignment with company values. 6. Employee Engagement & Culture Building • Lead internal communication, R&R programs, and pulse surveys to drive engagement. • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. • Build a values-driven and safety-conscious culture across the organization. 7. HR Operations & Systems • Oversee payroll, HRIS, employee records, audits, and HR reporting. • Drive HR digital transformation – adoption of tools like SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, etc. • Ensure timely MIS and data-driven decision-making through HR analytics. 8. Budgeting and Cost Control • Prepare and manage the HR budget, including training costs, recruitment spends, and manpower planning. • Implement cost-effective HR practices while ensuring quality and compliance.
