The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a LIMS Master Data Specialist who is responsible for maintaining Global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) master data including customer and/or compendial specifications for GxP and lab grade products. What we re looking for Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology or science related field required. Experience: Minimally 1 year of laboratory and infrastructure experience preferred. LIMS Master Data experience is required. Understanding of data flow requirements in LIMS systems. Foundational experience working with LabVantage LIMS. Preferred Qualifications: Applied working knowledge of various laboratory instrumentation preferred. Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access), LabVantage LIMS, and ETQ. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Collects and researches data uses intuition and experience to complement data. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills. How will you thrive and create an impact: Works independently under close supervision, work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. Responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met. Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product. Identify and remedy defects within the production process. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support for LabVantage LIMS users, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and guidance. Monitor system performance and ensure uptime, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards. Configure and maintain LabVantage modules, workflows, and user roles based on business requirements. Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT teams, and vendors to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions. Support data migration, validation, and integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES). Document support activities, system changes, and user guides for knowledge sharing. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation efforts. Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements where applicable. Must Have Skills 7+ years of experience supporting LabVantage LIMS or similar systems. Strong understanding of LIMS workflows, sample management, and laboratory processes. Experience with LabVantage scripting, Java, SQL, and system configuration. Familiarity with regulatory standards (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
