Handle inspections and audits by labour departments and statutory bodies. 3. Grievance Redressal & Disciplinary Process Set up a strong mechanism for grievance handling and employee feedback. Conduct domestic inquiries, issue show-cause notices, charge sheets, and manage disciplinary actions as per company policy and legal framework. Lead preventive and corrective actions for employee misconduct or industrial unrest. 4. Contract Labour & Vendor Management Oversee the management of contract labour including contractors compliance with wages, working hours, PF, ESI, and other statutory norms. Ensure adherence to Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act provisions and ethical labour practices. 5. Liaison & Legal Coordination Liaise with government bodies, labour departments, and legal counsel for smooth operations. Represent the company in labour court, industrial tribunals, and conciliations. Assist legal team with preparation of documentation, case follow-ups, and compliance actions. 6. Employee Engagement & IR Strategy Drive blue-collar employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs. Identify and mitigate IR risks through proactive engagement and communication. Develop and implement IR policies, standing orders, and codes of discipline.
