The Lab Incharge is responsible for the overall management and coordination of laboratory activities. Safety Compliance : Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and protocols. Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines. Conduct regular safety training sessions for laboratory personnel. Equipment and Inventory Management : Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and proper use of laboratory equipment. Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies. Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs. Quality Control : Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results. Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory tests and procedures. Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory activities, experiments, and results. Prepare and review reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Collaboration : Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and other stakeholders to support ongoing projects. Facilitate communication and cooperation between different departments. Budget Management : Assist in the development and management of the laboratory budget. Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effectiveness in procurement.
