Lab Technician

Role & responsibilities

1. Phlebotomist -MLT, DMLT & BSC MLT - 2+ yrs experience.

2. Hematology Technician - MLT, DMLT& BSC MLT - 5-7 yrs experience in (Diagnostic center & Corporate Hospitals ).

3. Microbiology Technician -MLT, DMLT & BSC MLT - 3-5 yrs experience in relevant role.

4. Molecular Technician- MSC GENETICS , MSC BIO TECHNOLOGY & BSC MLT 3-5 Y yrs experience in relevant role.

Qualification :

MLT , DMLT , BSC MLT , MSC BIO TECHNOLOGY & MSC GENETICS .

Sample Handling and Preparation:

• Collecting and labeling samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).
• Ensuring proper storage and transportation of specimens.
• Preparing samples for testing, including processing and staining.
• Logging samples and maintaining accurate records.

Laboratory Procedures and Analysis:

• Operating and maintaining various laboratory equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, automated analyzers).
• Performing tests according to established procedures and quality control standards.
• Analyzing test results and documenting findings.
• Recognizing and reporting critical values to appropriate personnel.

Quality Control and Safety:

• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Adhering to laboratory safety guidelines and protocols.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Other Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support and assistance to other lab personnel.
• Keeping up-to-date with scientific and technical developments.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
• Educating patients on health issues related to lab tests.
