About the Role:

Lab Technician - Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance in the lab for video production and post-production
Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging videos for academic, research, and promotional purposes
Support students with video editing tools, software usage, and equipment setup
Manage and maintain video equipment, software licenses, and digital assets
Ensure safe and efficient use of lab facilities and uphold lab protocols
Collaborate with faculty on course materials and media-related projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Audition, or motion graphics tools

Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and basic color grading
Good communication and troubleshooting skills
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Design, Media, Communication, or related field
Prior experience in a media lab or academic setting is a plus
