Lab Technician

As a Laboratory Technician, your primary responsibilities will include collecting samples, labeling, and storing them, as well as performing tests. You will be supporting the preparation of Lab media and reagents and inspecting incoming specimens for accuracy and quality, while tracking the receipt of samples. Recording observations and findings, analyzing and interpreting data, and supporting the planning, setting up, and conducting experiments to support hypotheses will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment through calibration and maintenance, as well as keeping records of equipment maintenance. Presenting results to HODs and senior staff, supporting in writing reports and summaries, assisting in ordering laboratory supplies, and staying up to date with technical developments in the field are also key aspects of the role. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a B.Sc Degree in Biochemistry or Microbiology with DMLT. A willingness to continuously learn and upskill is essential for success in this role. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts, and the work location is in person.
