Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Lab Technician specializing in Clinical Biochemistry & Hematology to join our team at Jayanagar. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sample processing, quality control, and equipment maintenance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Process samples in Clinical Biochemistry and Hematology as per examination procedures within defined TAT.
• Prepare and maintain quality control (QC) material as per requirements.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance.
• Conduct daily internal quality control and initiate corrective actions in consultation with the section in-charge.
• Maintain QC data logs (daily and monthly) with proper acknowledgement from the section in-charge.
• Handle and analyse EQAS/ILC samples, submit data, and ensure compliance with schedules.
• Coordinate with service providers for preventive/breakdown maintenance, training, and equipment issues.
• Prepare and hand over outsourced samples to the lab coordinator.

Qualifications

• DMLT / B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Clinical Biochemistry & Hematology.
• Strong knowledge of QC practices, equipment handling, and lab protocols.
