You should have 3 - 4 years of experience and hold a qualification of M.Sc in Chemistry. As a Lab Technician, your responsibilities will include: - Performing routine lab tasks following standard operating procedures for sample preparation using standard techniques. - Conducting chemical solutions, standards, and dilutions as per the defined procedures. - Evaluating data and reporting/uploading it into the data reporting system. - Reporting any unusual test occurrences to the department manager and adhering to laboratory QA/QC practices. - Maintaining general housekeeping in the work area/department. - Conducting instrument maintenance, including Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry, and troubleshooting as necessary. - Assisting other laboratory technicians in different departments based on workload requirements. - Ensuring instruments are running optimally to meet clients" needs by uploading calibration curves and data. - Collaborating with the department manager to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and costs. - Updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working towards continuous improvement of methods, instruments, and protocols to meet benchmarks. You will work closely with the department manager to achieve operational excellence and deliver high-quality results to meet the organization's objectives.,
