Lab Helpers

The position of Lab Helper is currently open for a temporary appointment for 11 months, with the possibility of extension for another 3 years based on performance and funding availability. As a Lab Helper, your primary responsibilities will include performing laboratory tests, preparing samples, and ensuring the production of accurate and reliable data. It is essential to work collaboratively with the lab team to facilitate efficient operations and contribute to the collection of valid results. Additionally, you may be required to undertake any other tasks related to the project as assigned by the PI/Co-PI. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum qualification of SSC or ITI Pass and at least one year of relevant technical experience in central/state or private institutions/industries handling and maintaining structural engineering laboratory works. Candidates with experience as a Lab Assistant and proficiency in handling, maintaining, and operating structural engineering laboratory equipment will be highly preferred. Knowledge of various technical skills such as fabrication, welding, drilling, and operating heavy equipment, as well as concrete casting, is desirable. Applicants should be below 35 years of age to be considered for this position. The selection process will be based on academic records and relevant work experience, with shortlisted candidates being notified via email for an online interview. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview, as the PI reserves the right to keep the position vacant if no suitable candidate is identified.
